Selective Racking

Use: Palletized products; wide-variety of goods

The most common type of warehouse racking. Adaptable to any product, volume, weight, or size. One pallet deep; two back-to-back rows. Allows direct pallet access and protects against tampering and accidental disengagement. Available with bolted or welded frames.

Push-Back Racking

Push Back/Pallet Flow: Accumulation storage system that allows up to four pallets deeper per level to be stored.

We can design and build any type of flow system to meet your needs. Pallet Flow provides a First In First Out (FIFO) pallet rotation. This system is ideal for goods sensitive to expiration dates. Push Back provides a Last In First Out (LIFO) rotation. Ideal for limiting the number of truck aisles.

Double-Deep Racking

Double Deep is similar to selective racking; but pallets are now stored two rows deep instead of one. Double-Deep is Last In First Out (LIFO). This type of racking reduces the amount of accessible stock keeping units (SKU’s) due to 50% of SKU’s being behind pallets when storage locations are at full capacity.

Double-deep is better suited to stock that has a medium to long term shelf life.

Boltless Shelving

This shelving system requires no bolts and uses an interlocking clip. This feature saves up to 80% of assembly time compared to traditional bolted units, making it extremely economical. Shelves can be easily re-configured, re-arranged, and all component parts can be installed without dismantling.

Mezzanines

Mezzanines are a great way to maximize height in your warehouse and double or triple the surface area. Adding a Mezzanine can be the most economical way to increase warehouse space without the cost of a traditional building expansion.

At RackingDIRECT we can design a Mezzanine according to your specific plan and layout for your storage requirements. Mezzanines may be completely disassembled; the parts re-used; and the structure, dimensions, and location easily modified.

Advantages
Installation is quick, clean and easy
Custom designs fit any existing warehouse layout and budget
Compatible with a variety of shelving or storage systems
The versatility of a Mezzanine and its components allow for the addition of storage space, changing rooms, offices, and more to already existing or brand new spaces.
Accessories such as stairs, hand rails, vertical lifts, gates, and security cages can be incorporated to improve safety and facilitate product movement from one level to another. The wide range of sizes, floor types, and construction systems mean that Mezzanines can be adapted to meet any specific need.

Cantilever Racking

This racking style is best suited for storing short, long or awkwardly-shaped items—from steel sheets to dry wall and lumber. Cantilever racking is easy to install and space efficient, optimizing the productivity and profitability of your work environment. Used for both indoor and outdoor storage, cantilever racking is remarkably adaptable to take on the challenge of any storage situation.

Column Protection

Column Protection act as a barrier of  protection for columns, racks and corners in warehouses and material handling facilities. It minimizes the force of tow motor impact that can damage columns, surrounding supports, vehicles and operators.

End of Aisle Protection

End-of-Aisle Rack Protectors are a highly effective solution for increasing warehouse and distribution centre safety; preventing damage to rack and inventory. It helps guard your investment without affecting aisle flow patterns and protect you from costly facility repairs and downtime. These are an economical solution that can add an extra measure of protection to your warehouse.

Guardrails

Safety Netting

Safety precautions must be taken in warehouses and areas with racks or bay systems. The materials being stored should not fall out and in turn injure any person or damage the product. We have a wide range of netting, in order to protect light to heavy weight applications. Nets come in standard sizes but can be made to custom specifications in order to cater to the needs of specific situations.

Pallet Supports

Pallet supports bars are designed to connect over the pallet rack beam of a pallet rack system to support the bottom of load and reinforce the system as a whole. Various styles available.

Wire Mesh Deck

Wire Mesh decks are easy to install, simply drops into place. Improves fire safety by enhancing the performance of your overhead sprinkler system. Improves inventory visibility and brightens your facility. Gives you the flexibility to store multiple pallet sizes.

Security Fencing

Security fencing is used to ensure that your warehouse space is efficiently divided for safety or security purposes. Ideal for making spaces for stockrooms, sensitive materials and research areas.

Automation

Automation: Solutions for managing and optimizing the storage, preparation and dispatch of goods.
A self -contained, self-supporting machine to handle all movements within the warehouse. Product densities of less than 2 sq. ft. per pallet can be achieved. Automated movements allow for significant reductions in operating costs compared to traditional warehouses.

Post Protection

Post protection is essential  in limiting damaged rack post to compromise the structural integrity of an entire racking unit.  Post protectors provide the right amount of protection around individual racking posts. Your racking will remain intact and  keep your warehouse productive.
